    It seems that a Montana State Senator wants to close the popular Mount Jefferson snowmobile winter play area.  Lets hope that cooler heads prevail so the local business owners don't have to lay off employees and add to the local unemployment rolls.

    ATV trails act a firebreaks and provide pathways for wildlife.   This is a viewpoint that I have'nt heard before, but does make a lot of sense in any forested area that is in need of thinning.
