Woooo wee, I am always glad to see that some government agency is standing up and helping out the ATV crowd. This goes to show that with some courtesy and clean up effort our reputation can be changed.

County denounces proposed trail closures

Here is a perfect example of what ATV clubs are facing every day. While must of us are responsible for our actions there are a few who aren't. We should take it upon ourselves to report any wrong doing in an effort to save our riding privileges and educate others on proper behavior.

I am glad to see that people are taking the responsibility to clean up the dunes. The thing that I don't understand is that if there are fewer visitors shouldn't there be less trash? So if there is less trash wouldn't you eliminate some of the dumpsters there by lowering your trash bill? Hmm I wonder.

Wow this group is really trying hard to turn the negative effect of ATV's around. They are on the right track, and no you may not be able to teach common since, but you can teach common courtisey.

Here is a prime example of why you should wear safety gear when riding even if you dont plan on riding at high speeds. I mean seriously who wants there face all scared up on purpose?

Oh boy this is a tough one. Just think about it for a miniute., a snowmobile can be classified as an ATV as long as there is snow available, so are several models of motorcycles. The ATV classification basicly means any vehicle that can travel where your average automobile cannot. I see enduro style motorcycles which are street legal, all the time but just because they have a license plate that pulls them out of the ATV class? Or how about OHV (off highway vehicle)? Technicly this could be any four-wheel drive vehicle.

Honestly I really hate to include the bad news but there hase been so much of it lately that I feel I have no choice. Come on people put your safety gear on properly, if you dont have it get it, and dont drink and drive. This is no different than your automobile.
